With Greg Beeman as the director, Darius must prove to Harris and Grace that he isn’t a traitor. However, to do so, he must disclose a secret. The other side, Liam tries to help Julian deal with her new job at Tanz. He is apparently trying to build a weapon and it is unclear if he accessed NASA’s info illegally. The situation only intensifies as he runs off without even speaking to Grace. As a result, Grace turns to Harris and discloses to him a text where Darius explains that he isn’t yet done, and in fact, he has another move. This makes the team wonder as to whether Darius is a traitor or not and in case he goes against his country, what would be the reason. Things only become grueling as the bullet now turns to Darius something they all never expected.
Salvation Season 2 Episode 3: As the team races against time with no assurance that their plan will work, Darius must also prepare for any barriers most especially the Pentagon. Meanwhile, Grace must make some difficult that might not only put an end to her life but also affect millions of lives.
Apparently, Amanda has landed on a major hint which will certainly give her a bigger story. That is- the death of a tech and everyone at the plant is trying to cover it up. Also, Liam hardly knows that Amanda is the journalist. Her decisions for the tour also suggest otherwise.
To pause that, Darius is also troubled by the bad news he has just received. He has been given a couple of days to produce an EM drive and in case the plan doesn’t work, they were going to blow up the asteroid. Darius’ concern for Grace for a job is also bombarded.
With Ken Fink as the director and Corey Miller as the writer, the second episode of Salvation continues with the battle of the fittest. In this one, Darius and Liam cooperate to develop a theoretically impossible device that will divert the coming asteroid. With Grace on-board, she risks everything in order to help Darius during his project. On the other hand, Liam decides to head to Boston for more research, but there, he ends up stumbling upon shocking evidence.
The episode is generally filled with ups and downs as Darius’ team tries to crack a way forward. He is currently working on a spacecraft propelled by a device that uses microwave energy to thrust. However, this same device is objected by a number of scientists who stress that it violates the laws of Physics. To make matters worse, the project requires a sum of $2 billion as a startup plus a dangerous weapon. Questions regarding the mysterious death of a technician are also becoming another puzzle.
