It is a romantic comedy, which will be loved by all Indie- rock obsessed fans. A sweet little romantic comedy, a charming love story, who you wish were there, after watching it. It took four screenwriters to write the script, but the inspiration was from a novel by Nick Hobby Ticker Crowe, who is a rock star, of early 90’s period, who disappeared after a while & never gave a stage performance after that.
One of his fans (Duncan) keeps following him & keeps getting updates about him, as well. Annie, on the other hand, runs a Seaside Museum & Duncan manages a website, devoted to Tucker Crowe.

Boundaries is a comedy drama flick by Shana Feste, It is about a single mother Laura living in Seattle along with her son & criminally minded dad. She loves animals & others in help, so much so that loves giving them more importance than her. Her home is a play area for many abandoned animals; she takes her kitten along wherever she goes.
Her, father is asked to leave the retirement home. She agrees to drive him to her sister’s place. She also has her 14 year old, naughty little son to accompany her & her dad.
Her father tells his grandson (Henry) that without letting Laura know, they will sell Marijuana at every stop of their journey. Then, there’s another character, called Jack in the movie, who has been thrown out of his nursing home, because of his habit of drug dealing.
In this comedy drama flick by the Zellner brothers, Samuel (the main guy) is shown as an affluent pioneer, who sets out around the American frontier, to marry the girl of his dreams, Penelpoe. He travels across to save his future bride accompanied by, a guitar, rifle, a drunkard & a dwarf horse, which they lovingly call Butterscotch. They keep getting into something or the other funny/adventurous that keeps getting weirder. The conversations are beautifully etched with pauses, wherever necessary.
The locations, in this comic flick, are absolutely terrific, especially the seaside spots in Oregon. Octopus Project has given the music, which is again electrifying; a combination of Banjo, Musical Saw, Fiddle, and Guitar & Flute has been used. The movie is quite similar to Revenge.
Penelope is shown in a very courageous young woman. Samuel , on the other hand can be seen as a young man, whose every attempt to convince her for marriage have failed, many a times. He tries rescuing her from a group of kidnappers who kept her in the mountains, somewhere far away.
Anyone who knows Izzy, knows how informal, she can be, along with being rather wild & uncontrolled way. The movie made under the directions of Christian Papierniak, is a comedy drama, It has Haley Joel Osmet, Mackenzie Davis along with Sarah Goldberg in lead star cast.
Izzy comes to know that her ex is throwing an engagement party in the some other town & that too with Izzy’s former best friend. Izzy makes up her mind to stop it, under all circumstances. The character played by Mackenzine Davis, a newbie in the industry is quite good. Her work as Izzy is quite appreciated, by one & all. Mackenzine, has played her role with all the energy, that one can think of. Izzy is a loud rock singer cum guitarist, who doesn’t like to enjoy much. Izzy, mostly remains unfocussed, doesn’t have enough cash on her hands.
When Izzy sees that not much time is left for the party, she tries many different kinds of tricks, but no one is there to listen to her or see her tantrums.
Izzy Gets the F*ck Across Town (2017)
This comic flick directed by Charles Stone III, known for Movies like Drumline, Paid in full, amongst others. The movie has Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, and Kyrie Irving, as the main star cast. The movie has good punch lines; the comic events shown in the movie are mostly based on clumsy actions. But, it also endorses a soda company. Excited to know which one, well! Well! Well! For that wait until 29th June 2018 & see for yourself. Coming to the movie part, it’s about an NBA star, Kyrie Irving, who plays Uncle Drew (aged between 70- 79 years old). He meets his teammates, he knew ages ago for yet another game of basketball. The shooting was done in Atlanta & Rucker Park (New York).

‘A Christmas Tale’ is another portion of Arnaud Desplechin’s movies that depict struggles, and unending family problems. It is a perfect example of the many issues that require fixation in families and how many go about it. However, it maintains a constant focus that surely captivates everybody. The film introduces us to Junon Vuillard (Catherine Deneuve), the confident matriarch who governs a network of children. The network also includes her grandchildren, plus in-laws. Among the peculiar characters, there are those who are alcoholic, mentally unstable, the successful ones, and the quarrelsome ones. The movie illustrates notable parts of their private lives and their role as part of Junon’s monarchy. The film is ultimately less about how this heavy-weight family copes with its struggles that certainly threatens their bond. The film also depicts how the extended network actually plays part in creating distance in the family. Apart from the general family matters, the individual players also have to deal with their private matters that are mostly left uncovered. Arnaud’s film is a startling immersion into a modern world with its matters and it also generally revolves around family chaos!

Director and writer Alain Guiraudie takes no shame in displaying the anatomical structure of man. He has got his full-screen camera right in position to capture every bit of it. In his “Staying Vertical”, Guiraudie introduces us to Léo (Damien Bonnard) a filmmaker who seeks inspiration for his upcoming film. He finds himself in South France and during his scouting journey; his attention is captured by Marie (India Hair). After delivery, Marie is stressed and suffers from post-natal depression. She isn’t sure of Léo, who is one day here and the other away. The decision she makes is to abandon both Léo and their baby. Now, Léo has to take care of the baby alone.
Guiraudie’s version of man and woman in this film is just explicit and although it is realistic, he certainly went too far with every scene. You may also call him one of the French provocateurs, but his take on sensuality is quite high. “Staying Vertical” is a clash of minds, yet not complicated to understand. It is an engaging film that will surely require you to question Guiraudie’s intention.

However, it is not long that love develops between the son of a local fisherman and the family’s genderqueer teen. Slack Bay is a unique and an entertaining film.
